In 1992 they launched R/3 system which was notable for its client-server architecture and modular design.
In the 2000’s, SAP experienced more growth and diversification. It has expanded its array of products through acquisitions and efforts on crafting solutions to the specific industries. Then they introduced the SAP NetWeaver, a platform designed for seamless integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems. So SAP shifted their focus on cloud based solutions.
In the 2010’s, SAP totally increased their attention towards cloud and mobility. New marking to the shift in its strategy. They stored their data to cloud for 99.99% availability and durability. SAP HANA which is an in-memory database platform. It brought a revolution in data processing and analytics. SAP made investments in cloud-based solutions by the development of SAP S/4 HANA. It is an advanced ERP suite built on the foundation of the SAP HANA platform.
